I have experience the heartache of a divorce. I was unprepared for marriage. I planned for the wedding day, but not for the marriage. This was my experience.
I realized is that I did not know my self. I believe that there is a level of self awareness that needs to happen before marriage. However this is not just for marriage. This is just getting to know who you are and your identity. Learn about yourself and how your past effects your future. In the end you will be prepared for the marriage, know how to communicate effectively and over come certain challenges that arise.
